It is all the long journey back to July 2011, when told us all first you plans for Mozilla to build its own mobile smartphone OS called "startup of Gecko. At the time, the software developer said that the idea was to allow developers to create close applications being native of quality, using HTML 5. Thursday, in San Francisco, Mozilla shows Firefox OS running on a real device. In July, a number of screenshots were leaked out of Europe. Mozilla says Firefox OS is not developed to compete with the big boys like iOS and Android. Instead, the open source OS should low power model mid - end that will be for sale at prices featurephone. The device used to display the operating system on Thursday was a model ZTE. Those who have tested the OS Firefox says that it reminded them of Android running on an Android phone low range. Apps such as photo and phone dialer open quickly, while Mozilla has said there is room for even faster performance. The OS will load with 15 apps, including the Firefox browser (expect opera, perhaps?), photo, SMS, calendar and Firefox OS device on the market. The latter is photos a few days ago. As you can expect, each application has a separate icon on the screen and plucked zoom is supported. All basic applications are cached which means that it can be accessed even when you do not have a data connection. And because of its origin as a browser, Firefox OS will allow applications to run not bound to a particular operating system.

Mozilla wants to standardize approximately 40 API to work across different devices.  Uncomplexed as vibrations and the level of the battery are supposed to be complete. Other API such as SMS and the composition are working on now.
